Technical Details

Elka 2.5 Reservoir shocks are built to hold consistent damping under heat and repeated hits, using high-quality internals and a durable aluminum body. The remote reservoir design helps manage temperature during sustained aggressive riding, and the adjusters let you dial in ride feel without guesswork.

Quick take: The 2.5 RESERVOIR model features an external reservoir with increased oil volume for cooler operating temperature, providing better performance and consistency. These shocks are a good performance upgrade over OEM shocks. This configuration is for use exclusively with aftermarket lift kits or upper control arms to accommodate between 2 in. to 3 in. of lift. Ride height is preset from our factory at approximately 2.5 in. of lift at the front for most setups, actual ride height may vary depending on wheels dimensions and lift kit or upper control arms used.
